Last night the kids had tacos for dinner, I guess that means Taco Tuesday is OUT!
So, what do we have for dinner tonight? We feel that we are constantly trying to figure out new or different things to try for dinner. The 4FLEMZ consider ourselves pretty adventurous when it comes to food. We have taken the 4FLEMZ to Sushi (the kids enjoyed the rice and edamame, but they were not sold on the raw fish), we make our own pizza's thanks to Trader Joe, we do a lot of grilling - steaks, chicken, fish (you name it, we probably have grilled it.) We have used the almighty crock pot when we are being really proactive cookers, but for the most part we find ourselves scratching our heads and saying,
"What's for dinner?"
So, we are turning to you - our favorite audience to answer this question for us...
What's for dinner in your house? Do you have any recipes you would like to share that are your family favorites? The 4FLEMZ will work 4 food.Side note: My Grandma Graham used to have a parrot that would say, "Hey Good loookin' whatcha got cooking?"- still cracks me up. :)
Hey Lisa, I just figured out how to do this following thing..LOL So, I love the blog so far, I am cracking up! Sorry I can't help with the "whats for dinner" question, we struggle with that daily. If Clay had his way it would be cheap pizza and jalapeno poppers every night, if the boys has their way, it would be pizza and mcdonalds... IF I had my way,, everyone can have anything they want as long as it's healthy and I don't have to cook it or clean it up!!
ReplyDeleteYay! We have another follower! Thanks for keeping up with the Flemings! I am totally with you on the cooking situation. I am about the healthy stuff too, but I would throw in a few jalapeno poppers here and there. We love the Pages!
ReplyDeleteThe answer is meatballs. You make the meatballs in 2 big batches. Make spaghetti out of one batch and then meatball sandwiches on french rolls a couple days later. They also freeze very well and reheat quickly. My kids LOVE both meals and since I'm making them out of extra lean ground turkey and can technically "hide" things in them, they become very healthy :) If you need a specific recipe, I usually use allrecipes.com, but I can type my secret concoction up for you. LOL.
ReplyDeleteMeatballs! I know all 4flemz would love that!
